We knew this moment had to come. We tried hard not to put a label on what LeGar is but it’s unavoidable. Is LeGar a mixology blog? Are you collecting material for a book? Are you selling life-coaching courses? Are you therapists? are just few questions we get asked a lot.

Also, why not, no and hell no are our answers.

LeGar is the narration of a journey. A life journey that MIXES LATITUDES and SHAKES ATTITUDES and that is open to everybody.

We truly share Mahatma Gandhi’s famous thought “If you want to change the world, start with yourself”.

While we are not sure we are on a mission to change the world (nor that we think we could!), we surely want to change our perception of it, become better versions of ourselves and live more true to our values.

Let’s see where this journey takes us!

Are you ready to share it with us? We said ARE YOU READY? Sorry to get a little carried away, we are just so excited!

Latitudes

Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang   Luang Prabang, how we loved you!! We had been told that you were the "most beautiful city in Indochina" and you surely met our expectations. Temples, nature, culture, spirituality, food, mood: this city simply has it all. It comes with no...

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai"How are you liking Thailand?" is the question you get from fellow travellers as the standard conversation starter. Little did the poor fellas know that such a simple question would have us rambling on for ages about our dislike of the hot and humid...

Bangkok

Bangkok

Bangkok  Pad thai and mango sticky rice are the first things popping in our minds when thinking of Bangkok! Eating and drinking is indeed pretty much all we did while there, playing on the card of being too warm and jammed to wander around the city all day...

Phuket

Phuket

Phuket   Oh oh oh Merry Xmas!!! This surely is the most unsual winter vacation to date for us, far from our families and on the beach! We gotta say that after being in India for almost 2 months we were eager for some rest, privacy and comfort, but while...

Mumbai

Mumbai

Mumbai   Now we're talking! This is the India that we were waiting for in the previous 5 weeks: the India that makes you feel like you've landed on a different planet and you're surrounded by aliens, but is also familiar and comforting in its european-style...

Rishikesh

Rishikesh

Rishikesh   Arriving in Rishikesh feels like you've entered a giant "spirituality supermarket": hindu pilgrims homage ma Ganga (mother Ganges) in colorful ceremonies, sadhus walk around smoking weed while begging for money (to buy more weed) and neo-hippie...

Delhi

Delhi

Delhi   Delhi's reputation precedes itself as a polluted, dirty, messy and unsafe city. As much as we hate biases, sometimes they just have a point. Delhi is no piece of cake, and for us it is and will remain the place where we got scammed the night we landed in...

Beirut

Beirut

Beirut   Elton and I discussed quite a bit about our feelings towards Beirut, and after an-intra-family-summit we agreed that we kinda hated it, though we really hate it that we hate it! What's not to like: Sunny and warm wheather --> check Beach, sea and...

Istanbul

Istanbul

Istanbul What a blast we had in Istanbul! We literally just left and we miss the city and the people we met so much! Everyone knows Istanbul is a beautiful beautiful city, and that the old byzantine flair is still in every corner, but that's not the main reason we...

Roma

Roma

Roma   After almost 400 km of walking through vineyards, olive trees, woods, fields, dirt roads, small villages, ancient cities and 15 days of joy, sweat, pain, smiles and tears we are finally in Rome!! Never have we ever felt this excited about being in Rome,...

Siena

Siena

Siena   Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first milestone of our Way to Rome through Tuscany and Lazio: Siena! We get here after 5 days of walking, sweating, blistering, laughing and fighting (you may think such an experience brings us closer, and it does,...

Lucca

Lucca

Lucca   A little cute city in Tuscany, for us it represents the starting point of a journey through center Italy that will take us to Rome in a few weeks. Not a few hours, as normal by car, bus or train. A few weeks, as we are WALKING there! Some may not even...
